Jonna Kina’s (b.1984) works often lies at the junction of sound, language and image. Working with various mediums including film, sound, video, sculpture, installation, and text. She exhibits her findings with the value of the fictional viewpoints in non-fictional investigations. Kina’s works has been recently shown in the Fondazione Pastificio Cerere, Rome; Tokyo Photographic Art Museum; Galleria delle Carrozze di Palazzo Medici Riccardi, Florence; Fondazione Pastificio Cerere, Rome; Dunkers Kulturhus, Helsingborg; Musée de l’Elysée, Lausanne; International Film Festival Rotterdam; Hasselblad Foundation, Gothenburg; Espoo Modern Art Museum EMMA; Kumu Art Museum, Tallinn and in Sara Hildén Art Museum, Tampere, among others.
